Founded in 1959, York is a comprehensive, community-engaged university providing a broad sociodemographic of students access to a high-quality, research-intensive learning environment. Located in Toronto, York is the third-largest university in Canada, with a strong community of 53,000 students, 7,000 faculty and administrative staff, and more than 300,000 alumni.

York’s 11 faculties and 26 research centres conduct ambitious, ground-breaking teaching and research that is interdisciplinary, cutting across traditional academic boundaries.

York consists of two main campuses – Glendon College (Ontario’s only bilingual campus) and Keele Campus, with off-site locations at Nadal Management Centre and Osgoode Professional Development in downtown Toronto, the Lillian Meighen Wright Centre (EcoCampus) Costa Rica, and Hyderabad Campus, India.

Working with colleagues across our campuses, we enhance the quality of campus life for all members and visitors through the alignment of our activities within the University’s guiding principles. Facilities Services is comprised of the following – Custodial, Grounds & Glendon Facilities Services, Energy Management, Environmental Design & Sustainability, Facilities Development, Financial Services, Maintenance Services, Planning & Renovations.
