We are thrilled to announce that the OAPPA 2026 Annual Conference will be hosted at Algoma University in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, from Tuesday, May 26^th to Friday, May 29^th, 2026.

We’re calling all of our colleagues from facilities teams across the higher education sector in Ontario to join us for this annual opportunity to connect with peers and share knowledge tailored to the professionals who build, maintain, and sustain our institutions.

This year’s theme is “Resilient Campuses, Sustainable Futures: Leading Facilities Through Change.” We’re designing an engaging program focused on collaboration, sector insights, and professional development, all set against the unique and inspiring backdrop of Algoma University’s campus.

But OAPPA 2026 is more than just a conference—it’s an experience.

• A Profound Journey: We are honoured to include an experiential walk of the former Shingwauk Indian Residential School site. This is a vital opportunity to engage in “sharing, healing and learning” and deepen our understanding of the lasting impact residential schools have on First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples.
